These terms apply to all travel planning and booking services provided by Black List Tours LLC (“Black List Tours,” “we,” “us”). By paying for or using our services, you agree to them. Our cancellation and refund schedule is on our Terms and Conditions page.
1. What we do
Black List Tours LLC is a travel planning and concierge company. We arrange services provided by independent suppliers such as airlines, hotels, lodges, drivers, guides and tour operators. We do not own or operate these suppliers, and each one has its own terms. We are not responsible for their acts, errors, delays or failures, though we will help you resolve problems where we can.
2. Your travel documents
You are responsible for having a valid passport and any visas, electronic travel authorizations, vaccination records or other documents your destination or airline requires. We can help you understand what is needed, but the final responsibility is yours. We are not responsible for costs or missed services if you are denied boarding or entry, or if documents are lost, stolen, expired or incomplete.
3. Missed flights and connections
You are responsible for arriving on time for flights, transfers, tours and other scheduled services. If you miss a service for any reason outside our control, including flight delays or cancellations by an airline, the cost of that service is not refundable by us. We will help you rebook where possible, and any new costs are yours.
4. Illness, injury and health
You are responsible for your own health and for deciding whether you are fit for your trip and its activities. We do not refund services missed because of illness, injury or medical needs, and any medical, evacuation or related costs are yours. Please talk to your doctor before you travel.
5. Events outside our control
We are not liable for cancellations, changes, delays or losses caused by events outside our control. These include natural disasters and severe weather, acts of God, epidemics and public health emergencies, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, government actions or travel restrictions, utility or power outages, and supplier failures. If this happens, we will try to recover what we can from suppliers and pass it on to you, but we cannot guarantee a refund.
6. Changes to your trip
Suppliers sometimes change schedules, accommodations or activities. When that happens, we will offer a comparable alternative where possible. We are not liable for changes made by suppliers or required by local conditions.
7. Travel insurance
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, interruption, medical care and emergency evacuation. Some destinations require it. If you choose not to buy insurance, you accept the financial risks it would have covered.
8. Activities and risk
Travel, and especially adventure activities such as safaris, wildlife viewing, boating, snorkeling, hiking and nightlife, carries risks. Safety standards, laws and medical care abroad may differ from those at home. You take part voluntarily and accept these risks.
9. Travel information on our website
Information on our website about entry rules, safety and health is a general guide and can change without notice. Always check official government sources before you travel.
10. Limit of our liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the planning fees you paid directly to Black List Tours LLC for the affected trip. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost wages, missed events or other expenses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana.
